I am going to fit a front V Brake to my touring bike that has dropped handlebars. Can any one tell
me the type and source of a brake lever that operates V bakes from dropped bars.

Hard to do with some sort of adapter- have you considered some of the really good cantis out there
like Tektro, Avid, Paul?
No adapter required, works really well with road levers.

you may want to try out a "QBP Travel Agent." About $20 online. It's a work around to having to buy
a new set of brakes.
performancebike.com has is, although their service has really gone to pot the last few years.
