lightweight gimmick junk is.

JD you owe me $1
OOOOoooOOOooo.
Methinks your compensatory facade is showing.
Call it what you will, however the fact remains: You
don't weigh as
Quoted message said:much as I do, nor do you ride where I do.
JD
Quoted message said:OK, Here's my problem with your assessment.
The fact that it's mine seems to be the gist of your problem.
Quoted message said:You don't weigh as much as I do, or ride where I do.
You don't, that's a fact and was stated as such.
Quoted message said:Don't play the "My trails are harsher than your
trails" card, it sounds
Quoted message said:weak and doesn't work. Austin is plenty technical.
Call it what you will, the fact remains that you don't ride here. If you read something into what I
wrote, that's your hangup, not mine. I've never been to Austin, nor do I wish to go there, so I'll
never really know, will I?
Quoted message said:Why do I need to weigh 270 pounds in order to have a
valid opinion?
You don't. Nobody does because opinions are subjective to personal experience.
Quoted message said:Are you saying you represent the average rider?
Not even close. The "average rider" would have to be of average size and I am by no means
average sized.
Quoted message said:According to you, the wheels you demoed went out of true over the course of just a few rides.
Not according to me, they did and I was stating fact. My purpose here is not to lie.
Quoted message said:Granted, you weigh more than I do. But why have my
wheels held true for
Quoted message said:two years?
You tell me. There are many factors that have not been, nor could be easily revealed by words alone.
Quoted message said:It seems that if they were that weak under you, I
should have
Quoted message said:seen problems by now. Hmmmm.
Again, you don't weigh as much as me, nor do you ride where I do.
Quoted message said:Why does your 2 week stint several years ago have
more relevance than my
Quoted message said:two year stint?
I never said it did. Try putting words into the mouth of someone else.
Common sense dictates that what works well for larger riders, should last even longer for smaller
ones, especially entry level to intermediate riders because they normally don't ride as smoothly
as those more experienced. Common sense is a rare commodity nowdays, though some still know how
to use it.
Quoted message said:I think your experience is a pretty shaky basis for
writing off a
Quoted message said:product that many people are quite happy with.
I don't. That's just your opinion of my experience, of which you were not present for.
Quoted message said:My final assessment: You are as uptight about fashion
as the racer
Quoted message said:propellerheads. The computer comment sealed that
deal.
Call it fashion, eschewing electronic gadgetry and unconventional hype-driven junk, that's your
prerogative. I call it FU to the sheep who think that all of the latest is the greatest. If that's
what you call a fashion or uptight opinion or attitude, again, that's your prerogative.
Don't forget your cell phone on your next ride.
