Cyclingnews reports that Lance is in the US for a press conference today at 3 pm. The suggestion is a group called Discovery Communications (The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, The Travel Channel, etc.) will be taking over sponsorship from USPS in 2005.
I wonder if this will influence OLN. Don't know if they're under that umbrella. But surely one of Discovery's channels ought to have some great racing coverage.
Maybe we'll also see TDC and TRCC (The Doping Channel and The Racing Clean Channel).

OLN and Speedchannel were owned by the same guy. Then he sold off the Speedchannel to Fox, who tried to make it into the NASCAR channel to no avail, since now it is basically back to its old program style without the boats and plane shows.
Not sure if OLN has been sold off especially since it picked up the redneck show (bullriding) and has had so much success as the sole TDF programming in the states and is doing very well.

Discovery Communications announced today that they're taking over the sponsorship, despite the new (and fake) Ronde Champ's guarantee that the new sponsor was going to be NASCAR.
