This morning I met the mail carrier, or the fill-in carrier and asked if she had a registered letter that was to be re-delivered today. I had spoken to a customer service person yesterday who said that the letter would be re-delivered today.
She said no and I asked where it was she said that the regular carrier does not allow her to carry these letters. She asked me what I wanted her to do at which time I said, “ call the regular carrier and get my letter”. This was a registered letter from Germany. I was concerned with receiving it as it ironically had an autographed picture of Lance Armstrong (which I probably will never see now).
At that time I went down to the post office and stood in line with the information that I had. I realized that I was wasting my time, so I got into my car and went back to my house. On the way there I saw the mail truck. I stopped my car and asked the fill-in carrier if she had called the other carrier. She said ‘no’ she called her supervisor because I was harassing her about the letter.
Then she started the truck up and I said I need a phone number to call from her, and she put the truck in gear she inched forward (I was standing directly in front of the truck) I said, “what are you going to do run me over?” She then pushed the accelerator and hit my standing body with the mail truck. As I came around the side of the truck she rolled her window up. I asked for the phone number again, at which time she sped away.
