Is it OK to use a 32mm tube in a 25mm tyre? It cannot be
very neat inside there. This is for an old 27" wheel, and
I'd like to keep using schrader valves (for perverse reasons
best not argued here.) Tubes smaller than 1¼" are hard to
find. I know a 700C is close enough.

32mm in a 25? It may work... in throes of desperation I
tried a 35 in 23 - forget it, it doesn't fit. I had to make
(another) trip to the shop...Ritch

think is purely cosmetic. Completely useless, but doesn't do
any harm either? Except maybe provides some thinner spots
for the thorns to get through? I hope the aramid (kevlar)
does its job. Only US$17 from aebike.com .
