  1. I use a trek hybrid bike with Schwalbe Marathon tyres. Amongst other things I ordered a couple of spare inner tubes (700c) from a cycle store on the net. When they arrived they looked noticeably narrower than the usual shwalbe ones I purchase from my local dealer - they are 700x22/23C and are maybe what you would use on a narrower road tyre.

They are michelin aircomp latex, anyone know if I can still use these tyres on my hybrid?

Tubes stretch, but that may be too much of a reach, depending on the size of your hybrid tires.

Should say something like 700X20-28 or whatever.

  4. My Mavics, in my hybrid, fits from 700x35C down to 25C, but I like the ride feel on the 28Cs, for me is a good compromise between comfort and speed.
    Corsaire

  5. There should be an indicator somwhere on the packaging as to the range they'll work for. I would think if you stretched them too thin they wouldn't last too long.

  6. Hmm! That's what I suspected! I'll play it safe and send them back to the shop.

    Thanks for your comments.
