Suggest a date then. I'm pretty easy. I'd prefer it within
the first three weeks but I'll make it anytime. I have the

Have you considered tying them to the kitchen table legs -
with a tarpaulin beneath to catch the drips - and a bowl of
food and another bowl of water - and with the curtains
pulled to stop the social workers seeing in? Would be the
kinder option.

Well I didn't say I couldn't make it during the last week,
merely that it's not the best week for me. If you can make
it on the 24th then suggest that (31st is a bit late, most
of the weekend would be in August).

If everyone who's interested could suggest dates in July
that they can or can't make it then we can decide on a
definite date. No point one person suggesting a date if no-
one else can make it then. We need to choose a weekend when
most people who are interested can make it.

And we need to decide fairly soon so that people can book
time off in advance if necessary.

That sounds almost like a challenge! Yes, OK then, why not!
Assuming all exams are over (Robert's doing GCSEs this

Yes, it's more difficult for me this year. I'll have to see
if I can take some time off from walking up mountains to
take photographs so that I can go walking up mountains to
take photographs with you lot instead

Don't be mean! You'd have to leave some chocolate or some
large gobstoppers to stop them crying, or the SS would just
break the door down resulting in a very large bill for the
householder - I assume you'd not be using your own house for
this - in the shape of a new front door.

I've done the main summits in the southwest, but not the
northern or eastern.

As I recall the original suggestion was a camp site in the
east (Conwy Valley?) somewhere and an eastern approach. Who
was it who suggested this?
