    And his name is Tyler Hamilton.

    What exactly he is doing there all by his lonesome with a long ways left to race is anyone's guess.

    Actually right now what I'm trying to figure out is the simplest possible way to read data off a
    floppy on an x86 machine, possibly even forgoing interrupts, and without using the BIOS because I'm
    running in protected mode...

    Don't see anything here for clarion unfortunately!

    OTOH... it looks like he might pull it off. I didn't realize how small the main group was untill
    live TV coverage started. There are only 3 or 4 riders pulling.

    Unfortunately, it looks like Basso will lose out too.

    With the Telekom guys pulling hard, unless Vino flubs the final time trial badly, the podium is out
    of reach for both Tyler and the Euskatel racers.
