  1. I have just took my ultragra 9 sp shifters apart to clean and to replace worn parts. Can't get them back together and can't get exploded diagram from shimano by the way these are road bike shifters. also I haven't been able to find any parts. HELP

  2. Go to shimano north america and follow product link to Home > Products > Road Bike > Ultegra 6600 > S.T.I. Shift/Brake Lever Image in ultregra shiftershope this helps.

  3. I'm pretty sure the shifters are not re-buildable via parts like the Campag units are.

  4. I hate to confirm this, but 9 speed ultegra shifters are not rebuildable.

  5. Does that mean no new parts can be bought for them? Or does that mean they cannot be reassembled, even if you have all the parts?

  6. Bad lesson in OCD cleanliness. Rule 1: don't take stuff apart you don't know how to put back together. I've played around with some trashed shifters and I have yet to get one back right. Last I heard they don't rebuild. That is always the trumping claim by the Campy snobs that there gear is rebuildable.
