Ultegra 10 cassette work w/ Campy Drivetrain

Yep, adjust rear der and go. Note-Ultegra and Centaur are most 'alike'
pricing wise, not Ultegra->Chorus.

OBTW-Chorus and DA are the most alike, price wise, Centaur-Ultegra

In my experience, yes and no. You won't just put the wheel in and not
have to make adjustments to the stops and tension. I tried an Ultegra
10 cassette in my Record 10 bike. It shifts ok but not just like a
Campy spaced wheel. If one needed to use a Shimano 10 in a Campy 10
bicycle, a pre 2001 Campy rear derailleur would work perfectly.

Perfect - I'm running a 2000 Chorus/Record drivetrain. Also, in
response to Peter's comments re pricing - I'm familiar with the usual
pricing equivalencies. It just turns out that this bike is offered from
the factory with an Ultegra kit and that version is currently
discounted ('free wheels' promotion) by the manufacturer while a Campy
version would cost retail - offered reasonable discount both ways by
LBS, but difference still $1000.

Hey Lou. In my experience, SHIMANO cogs work with RECORD shifters, but
only after a DURA ACE (Or other exact thickness chain) is put on. We
have had good luck with the latest batch of stainless chains from
wipperman, which come in a DA 10 width.

Shimano seems to have noticed this, and has determined to rectify the
'error' with DA10
