Aldi do loads of cycling gear on occasions; I've got loads of stuff from there like cycling shorts, waterproofs, gloves, footpumps and suchlike. My camelbak-alike has been great and cost a massive £8; the bladder for a normal camelbak alone costs double that!
They've just had a cycling specials week at Aldi. Bought some padded cycling underpants - they're really comfy, they keep the dangly bits in just the right position for a painless freemount (and only £2.99)!
Lidl often have good deals too - they've got cyling specials starting this Monday. www.lidl.co.uk
but i'm waiting on the waterproof trouser stuff, so i can wear sweats under them and not jeans or anything, wanna be as light as poss, free moving and dry 😄
I got a new helmet and a pair of fingerless cycling gloves for hockey for a grand total of £6.50 this week.
Good old Aldi.
