Oh come on! You guys have mentioned the Soup Nazi and the Chinese Restaurant
from Seinfeld, but what about (1) the coffee shop, (2) the "bizarro" coffee
shop, and most memorably, what about Poppy's?

    Oh, okay. Carry on, then!

The coffee shop's name was "Monk's."

There's also Mendy's, the restaurant where Bania ordered soup, then claimed
Jerry still owed him a meal.

Here's one none of you have ever heard of: Nicole's, which was a
restaurant in The Gregory Hines Show (sitcom). I only know it because I
    shot the show. 🙂

Here's one you won't know unless you watched the British detective
show, "Pie in the Sky" - 1994 to 9997.

It was about a police dective (Henery Crabbe) who wanted to retire and
run his restuarant (famous for it's pies), but was always being
brought back to solve another case and had to cooperate in order to
get his full pension. Much of the show took place in at his restaurant
    - the name escapes me - but I found this trivia from IMDb interesting:

The building in Hemel Hempstead that was used as Henry Crabbe's
restaurant was a florist at the time of filming but has now become a
restaurant named "Pie in the Sky" in real life

Plot summary: Henry Crabbe, an intelligent, sensible, mild-mannered
man, desperately wants to retire from the police force and devote him
time and energy to his beloved restaurant. However, Assistant Chief
Constable Fisher won't allow this to happen as this would expose his
own stupidity and ineptitude to the unwelcome attention of his
superiors. So, until Henry can solve this invidious dilemma, he must
continue to do the dirty work of his boss, A.C.C. Fisher, as best he
    can.

I think they picked "Mel's" because there are so many - unrelated to
    each other.... AFAIK.

The Colonnade Room from _The Honeymooners_ - only featured once. Also the

I saw Jack's Bistro from Three's Company on the list, but I didn't see
Angelino's, also from Three's Company, on the list. 🙂
