OK, so I can't keep up with the calendar! Make that, Today, Wednesday,
May 16, 2007 - in the USA that is. Other parts of the world may already
be on Thursday, May 17.

Oh, sorry! A storm blew through last night and it didn't get above 70F
today and virtually no humidity. Sunny and breezy. After running some
errands I spent all afternoon on the patio, reading and watching the birds.
I'm heading back out there now until the sun sets. Very nice weather for
this time of year and it won't last long!

OB Food: Spinach souffle for dinner (Stouffers, heheh. Don't feel like
cooking - or grilling - when I can be relaxing on the swing)

Me too! I thought my student put the wrong date on the board. I had
to look at the "real" calandar to assure myself that everything (three
ways to write the date) he put up was correct.

So sorry about your sun! Considering it had started the usual approach to
unbearably hot and humid this is a welcome relief. It's supposed to
continue to be under the 80F mark until Sunday, continuing sunny with a
light breeze. I saw a number of great birds while sitting outside,
including a young female downy woodpecker at the suet feeder and later a
large male hairy woodpecker with a magnificent red stripe from head to
wing-top. Several pair of cardinals dropped by. Sparrows are perpetual 🙂
The house finches and purple finches are starting to come around and the
Carolina chickadees are just too much fun! (I need to get more seed!)

OB Food: Breakfast Thursday will be two scrambled eggs and cheese-toast (on
mini slices of sourdough bread using Vermont cheddar).
