  1. Greetings:

I am usually an amused observer on the sidelines when it
comes to the sporadic aspartame / Betty Martini eruptions.

I had a spare moment, and clicked on the links she provided.
The underlying site has expanded beyond simply aspartame.

We now have information there on Chem-trails (a la Art Bell)
, genetically modified foods, fluoridation, and MSG.

Ms. Martini is now expanding into the legal system in
Virginia. Somewhat like the "Twinkie Defense" used in
San Francisco, she is proposing an "aspartame defense"
for a convicted murderer (Diane Fleming) in Virginia.
The murderer allegedly poisoned her husband with
methanol. Betty claims it was methanol from the
    husband's use of aspartame.

I am not making this up....the reason the coroner's (Fierro)
findings should be thrown out is because they also assisted
on the autopsy of Vince Foster.

"Martini is convinced Fierro's history of complicity in the
Foster cover-up clarified her actions in the Fleming case."

In other news, all the ephedra deaths are not from ephedra,
    they are from aspartame.

Tony Blair is suffering from aspartame toxicity. (He drinks
diet Coke), and George Bush's recent need for an MRI and his
stumbling over words are due to aspartame.

George W has never been an articulate speaker. Everyone on
the planet knows that. Now we *know* why.

The world really does have all kinds, doesn't it ?

Those in the newsgroup should view Betty's posts in context,
and not get their hair too ruffled over them.

    Cheers, WCB

PS: The "Dr." prefix for Betty ?

I haven't researched this thoroughly, but Dr. Martini did
appear get an honorary doctoral degree from the Institute
    for Christian Works.

Their web site has the following information.

"Unlike most institutions of higher education, the Institute
for Christian Works does not charge by the credit hour.
Instead, there is a flat fee charged for each degree level.
There are no hidden costs or unnecessary add-ons."

The fee for a Doctoral Degree is $2000.00. Scholarships are
    available. PayPal is accepted.

"The degree programs at the Institute for Christian Works
are not designed to meet any local, state, or national
licensing or credentialing regulations, nor to meet any
requirements established by any schools, or public, private,
independent, organizations or associations. If you are
seeking a degree for licensing purposes, the Institute for
Christian Works advises you to check with that association,
state, or school district, to determine if it is acceptable
    and meets their requirements."

    institutecw.tripod.comhondegrees.htm

If you compare the staff and faculty of the Institute for
    Christian Works institutecw.tripod.comfaculty.htm

to the governing board of the World Natural Health
    Organization wnho.netgovernance.htm

    the overlap is quite impressive.

Of course it is unusual for those given an honorary
doctorate to call themselves "Dr." . Otherwise we would have
Dr. Mike Tyson, Dr. Frank Sinatra and Dr. Bill Clinton.

For a somewhat provocative historical background on Honorary
    Doctorates, look at :
    members.citynet.netdoctor.htm

  2. I presume the context is that her elevator doesn't go all
the way to the top floor? 🙂

I think what really ruffles the feathers and hair so much is
the almost religious fanatical manner in which her shills
keep on repeating themselves, almost as if by repeating
they'll somehow make believers of everybody ..... and even,
as did Scummy Sammy, start getting abusive AT the non-
    believers .......

ie: It's not so much the message, as the manner of the
    messengers and their delivery ...
