Is it just me or are some of the most common electronic shifting issues, such as dropped connections and inconsistent shifting, being caused by a fundamental design flaw in the system itself, rather than user error or poor maintenance? I mean, think about it - these systems are incredibly complex, with multiple components and wires that can potentially fail or malfunction. And yet, were expected to believe that the vast majority of issues are caused by riders not following the manufacturers instructions to the letter, or not cleaning their bikes regularly enough.

    Id love to hear from some of the more experienced riders out there - have you noticed a pattern of certain issues cropping up time and time again, despite your best efforts to maintain and troubleshoot your system? And do you think that the manufacturers are doing enough to address these issues, or are they just passing the buck and blaming the riders?

    It seems to me that theres a lot of finger-pointing going on in this community, with some riders being accused of being mechanically inept or not knowing how to use their gear, when in reality, the problem may be with the system itself. Id love to see some more constructive discussion around this topic, and maybe even some solutions that dont involve just trying a different battery or resetting the system.
