I am into my second week of maintenance and have gone from 18 to 24 points. I have eaten on average (22.5) The problem is I have difficulty making myself eat so much. Yesterday I had eaten 20.5 points at the end of the day so allowed myself a small Southern Comfort (yum I had been missing this) and still only made it to 22 points. I am not even eating my Activity points. I am afraid to eat so much after trying to keep to my points. I am afraid I will gain. I know I have to eat more but I am not hungry. The scales at home are showing another loss but my official WI is on Wednesday. Please tell me it is ok to eat more, I am trying to add good food choices not just alcohol and chocolate. I allow myself a little bit of both for balance. I am eating in between meals but usually a fruit or something low in points like a low fat yogurt. Michelle Ozzie in Switzerland
Nothing to be scared about. Perhaps you could adjust the foods that you are eating so you don't have to feel like it's all alcohol and chocolate.
Maybe get a different yogurt-not low fat? If you are eating a lighter bread, why not substitute for a higher point whole wheat. Add some nuts to your woe-that really adds the points and you'll get additional protein for the activity points. Instead of fat free products use the full fat products.
Hope that helps. I know there will be more suggestions soon.

Eating more after losing weight for a long time must be really difficult. But there are some good ways to use points without realizing it. Peanut butter is really good. Or some oily fish (mackerel, salmon) instead of white fish. Or just add some more olive oil to your dressings or rice or pasta.
Thanks for the advice, my biggest problem is the psychological one not the choices, though I will try incorporate those suggested. Michelle Ozzie in Switzerland

What you are going through is totally normal and very common. It's natural to fear gaining, especially when you've worked so hard to get to where you are now. Unfortunately, this feeling does not last forever. <G> And the weight will balance out eventually. I will tell you that it is ok to eat more. Eat those fruits and veggies, yogurt is good too. Try to stay away from the junk. Remember what you learned on ww - THIS is a new way of life. You can enjoy that junk on occassion, just watch the portions. BUT continue to monitor your weight - don't ever stop doing that. This is the only way you will be able to catch things at the very first opportunity, before the chore becomes huge again.

I think that you are being very smart in your weight loss and think that it is normal to not be able to eat all of your points. So many of us are use to being on diets where we do not eat any of the things taht we enjoy and end up starving ourselves so we do not loose weight. At least with WW, we can still enjoy the southern comfort and chocolate and not feel guity. I think what you said about keeping a balance between the healthy and junk food is key. Do not try to cut out all of the chocolate because you will not be able to stay on the program for the rest of your life. I agree with the other posters to enjoy your moderate junk food and fill in the rest of your points with healthy food that is not always low fat.
This is one of my greatest concerns, I have difficulty eating all my points some days and am on 22 U. S. points I have some anxiety about adding points back in because I am struggling with what I have now. I know I am a slow loser so force myself to eat most of my flex and a large portion of activity ones. I can tell you it is fine to eat those points, I KNOW that is right but please don't ask me to be your role model, good luck, Lee Michelle Guy <[email hidden]> wrote in message "]news:[email hidden]...

you know I thought about this and it struck me that one of my rules is that I do not do anything during my losing that I can't do forever... and I found great lower fat food I actually think I like better. Isn't that a weird NSV? Lee skiur <[email hidden]> wrote in message "]news:[email hidden]...

Great NSV, I have also found lowfat alternatives I actually prefer too. Since the original message I have added some points to my snacks, healthly and am now enjoying my 24 points. Michelle Ozzie in Switzerland 69.8/59.7/61kg
