    URC is such a large group that it is not possible for any one individual to
    have any impact on it. Trolls are the least of your worries. If you want to
    worry about something, I suggest you worry about all the imbeciles that post
    to this group. They will destroy it more certainly than any troll.

    Trolls are actually a very rare thing. In all of my many years of being on
    Usenet, I have only encountered one true troll. On the other hand, stalkers
    are more numerous but they too do not really amount to much - as long as
    they do not become criminals.

    On the other hand, groups that are not as large as yours can be impacted by
    a single individual. ARBR and RBS are prime examples. That is why
    cross-posting makes some sense when smaller groups are involved.
