  1. Hi

I have recently bought a new tri bike (Trek Equinox 9) and want to get a speedo for it. The problem I have is that I cant mount the computer in the usual way because of the position of the stem and so I need an adapter to mount on the tri (aero) bars.

Can anyone suggest an approprite mount and a decent computer.

    Thanks

As for the computer, it pretty much depends on what kind of features you want.

  3. Thanks for the quick reply

Will that definitely work? I can't seem to figure how that would mount?

This is the bike it will need to fit on trekbike.co.ukdisplay page.php

    thanks

It will work. Here is a link with a picture of the product installed.

You can mount the computer anywhere along your aerobar that you desire.

  5. ah ha... yeah i get ya now.

That looks a safe bet. With regart to actual computers, can any1 recommend one which measures cadence. I would prefer to keep it cheapish but would like wireless if possible, especially the cadence sensor.

    thanks

Wireless might not be a bad idea because of where that speedo will mount - at the end of the aero bar - will put it pretty far from your fork. You will need a mouting kit with adequate wire length. SO, yea, the Cateye wireless might be the way to go and they are reasonalbly priced - assuming you like Cateye. They make one with cadence for about $40 called the Astrialie (sp), but it's not wireless.
