I would say the Luna is a nicer tire.
I don't like the foldage my Creepy Crawler has.
I've had a couple times, where I gap to something skinny, and the tire folds a bit and rebounds and then you're back on the ground...
Doesn't really bother me all that much, just that the Luna has much nicer sidewalls.
Go with the Monty Eagle Claw if you want a better tire. It has similar sidewalls to a Luna and the grip of a Creepy Crawler.

I dont think the eagle claw os available in the states yet either... and I dont want to spend so much on overseas shipping. If it is available, please let me know.

It's available in Canada, and in the USA.
www.montycanada.com (Canada) www.hbtrials.com (Canada, Quebec) www.trialsin.com (USA)
Couple others that I can't think of at the moment.

Nearly true. I think the Monty has more grip than the Maxxis... i rode both and i just love the Monty. I think its the best tire out there for trials.
I had a TryAll Sticky before my Maxxis and the Maxxis before my Monty... and everytime i changed my tire it feeled like a better tire than before.
Well... its personal preference mostly... but i will stick to the Monty 🙂

Ah, I will take that into consideration when buying a new tire.
From what I heard, the Monty has the same grip as the Creepy Crawler. Is the compound on the Monty softer then? Or is the Creepy Crawler so soft that it isn't really helping the grip at all, making it wear way too fast...

Monty tire is wider though right? Not just wider by the number, but actually wider? Measured with a caliper?
I've ridden my Creepy Crawler since last November, and it's nearly bald in the center now, and I don't ride very often or very hard... so that's worth it to me.

Its nearly the same... doesnt make much difference to me. I cant measure it... i rode my Monty for more than 6 weeks now and my Maxxis is pretty down too...
If its bigger its not noticeable.

i ride a try-all, and my riding buddy rides a CC. i do not like the CC at all!!! it feels so mushy and soft.
on a separate note, ive had my try-all for 3 1/2 months and its almost completely bald in places.
