Trek 4600 or 4500

components for the money. I also took a Hardrock Sport for a spin and
it felt flimsy compared to the Trek 4600.

There was a discussion about 4500 vs. 4600 here in the last couple of
weeks; check groups.google.com to find it.

PS -- You didn't really say that you were going to choose a bike based
on the color scheme, did you?

Do yourself a favour - read that one back to yourself and ask yourself if that
store is ripping you off, or at the very least lying through their teeth...

I'm a professional graphic designer, my entire life is color
schemes. LOL... I was stating a preference but wouldn't get a bike
based on color.

Well I called around and found a Trek 4500 in my size. The 4600 sounds
nice but I don't want to purchase a bike no one else has tried.

Just remember, a properly used mountain bike will be so covered in mud
that you can't identify its color, anyway.

(Btw, Klein is known for its paint jobs. You can play with all sorts of
craziness on their site.)
