HI all I have been cycling seriously for about 5 months now and I am ready to take it allot more seriously. I have been doing allot of riding and I have heard allot of people talk About tapering off ect ect , can you please tell me what your training regimes are or give me a name of a great cycling book with training tips Thank you so much

Its best to get a coach (try Ric the moderator on this site) and there are lots of books out there take a look at books by Ed Burke and Chris Carmicheal (i.e. Lance Armstrongs coach). The problem with a book is that they include '1 size fits all programs' yet all people are different (physiologicaly, psychologicaly and lifestyle).
Have a search on the web for things like tapering (there is a good article on this on www.sportsci.org), periodisation (also spelt 'periodization'😉, aerobic and anerobic training, recovery.... That list should give you a good start.
