trails in stehekin, WA?

Been there 20yrs ago, and absolutely loved it. Beautiful, remote. Are you flying in, or taking The Lady of the Lake?

But I don't know anything about the riding there.

OK, looks like the"singletrack hiking" trails up there are closed to mtnbikes, but there are dirt roads avail to take you to some outrageous viewpoints. Just the stuff for you n Steve to do together. 😉

yeah, that's about what I'm finding. I'm in the process of calling all
the ranger stations for the different wilderness/park/rec areas in the
vicinity to verify, but it looks like it's road riding around Stehekin.
The single track is all at the other end of the lake, and with one
exception, it's all closed right now due to that fire. AND...the road we'd
be riding on out of Stehekin washed out a few miles up. Think we'll be
leaving the bikes at home this time.

It cracks me up that the local bike shop advertises mountain biking & then
has this little note on their site that says "no off-road riding". Uh,
