No, I couldn't find it in the end - it must've been in one of the two or
three that got mashed up.
I did however find one for chocolate ginger squares, which look pretty damn
good, so here it is:
250g ginger nut biscuits, crushed
2tbsp cocoa powder
2tbsp golden syrup
1tbsp caster sugar
125g butter
1 heaped tbsp ground ginger
175g dark plain chocolate
1-2tbsp sultanas
Melt butter, cocoa powder, syrup and sugar gently in pan. When melted, add
crushed biscuits and sultanas, mix well. Then press into greased 7inch
square or round tin. Chill for at least an hour. Break chocolate into small
pieces and put, with ginger, into heatproof bowl. Place into pan of hot,
(but not boiling) water and stir until free-flowing. Carefully remove
biscuit base from tin and spread chocolate mix over. Chill for at least 30
mins.
That sounds so good I'm going to give it a try!
