Wow. You guys are going crazy with that stuff. The term trail seems to
be a bit of a stretch. Maybe a new term needs to be coined if it hasn't
already.
Something that indicated the difference like elevated freeway is to street.Looks pretty cool. We don't have much stuff like that 'round these parts.
Thank goodness. Hopefully one place in the country will remain natural.

I must second that notion. That junk is a total eyesore to the area
and I've been up there. It doesn't fit at all into the natural
terrain. What those dudes did down lower was commendable, but this
garbage is just plain ridiculous. How about "ego park" as a new term?

If it's any consolation, it's only an eyesore if you can see it, and
it's not visible unless you make your way into by hiking or riding, and
you have to want to go there. There are thousands of acres on that
particular "hill" and the "trail" builders were quite happy to get
USFS cooperation to build their ramps and skinnies, etc. in that
particular area without fear of having it discovered and torn down.
It's not my cup of tea, but based on the popularity of those crazy
canucks of Vancouver and Whistler, it looks like this type of riding is
not going away any time soon. So I'm glad the buildups are off by
themselves in relatively obscure areas off the beaten path.
