No, not at all, A cheap canon ixus 400 replica I got in the canaries last
spring for 75 euros! Size wise its ok, about the size of a packet of smokes
but its very heavy, i don't take it on my overnighters!

Most of my pics are 2 or 3 images stitched together to give a bit of width
to the view. single images give no feel for a hill!

I then pratt about with the finished image in MS Photo Editor to try and get
a bit of contrast and depth, but just like you I never know if they are too
bright or too dark, on my lap top they are too dark with too much contrast,
on the desk top they are too bright and wishy washy and on the machine at
work they look about right!

I then use excel to create the web page, realy quick and tailored!

The best known one is of a couple of touroids sitting looking at the
view. The irony is delicious.

Year... Lot happened when I was up there. Dont believe what you see
on the Telly... That polis box is not as reliable as they show
nowadays... Was in for a M ofTime Travel (mine is disguised as a
cairn - caught out that McPish character on quite a few occasions)

Nice. I also combined An Socach into that walk, following the high(er)
ground from Gheoidh before heading off down the Glen with someone
I met at the summit who said he'd drive me back to the ski centre. I'd
probably have been quicker hacking it back over Cairwell but it
looked boggy in between.

Great pics as always Stuart. Did these three on Hogmanay last year,
conditions looked fairly similar, though it clagged in on the retreat from
Gheoidh which meant getting the compass out for the first time in a while.

Went up with my young cousin and the dog, but we also picked up another
dog from the Ski Centre who seemed to enjoy the company - it stayed
with us for 2 out of 3 hills.

Ditto the comments about the top of the Cairnwell, are they trying to
reach Saturn with this lot ?

Best view was over to Glas Tulaichean, I noticed from your pointless
stats page that I've got at least one of everything but a "Glas". Will
need to sort !
