Well, I just arrived in Kirk Yetholm with you and am sad that it is
over. The site is beautiful, the pictures particularly, and the food
made me hungry even though I finished dinner just a while ago. I have
had a most enjoyable evening traveling along with you and taking in the
beauty of the English country side. Thank you.

I really enjoyed reading the text, and the photos bring back good memories

I tried it with IE 6 and Mozilla Firefox and it works for me

In fact, the first 2 other campers I met both had one. They were both
pretty pleased with them, as far as I know.

When using a macro facility, the camera has two related problems. The first
is lack of light in closeup, which it corrects for by opening the aperture
of the camera. This relates to the second problem which is a very small
depth of field. I'll take a guess and say all the macro shots are out of
focus, but at some point somehere on the image there is a point that is in
focus. Unlike a normal shot where the part of the image in sharp focus can
be many feet deep, for closeup macro work the part in sharp focus is
possibly only a few millimeters. If you post a couple of the suspect images
and tell us what camera you were using then someone here should be able to
confirm or advance a better theory....

Ghastly's exactly right! I'm pretty sure, now, that he was just
playing SAS, but it's never possible to be entirely sure. The rest
more than made up for it, though, and in any event it's all part of
life's rich tapestry etc etc 🙂
