Thanks, nice of you to say. I recently got a new Olympus and I only
take photos of waht's there!

yes made it up to helvellyn it was like a summers day clear skies sunshine
loads of people on the mountain
well worth the trip

What is meant by an inversion in the mountain walking context? (From a

When you're in clear air standing above the clouds, looking down on them
- that's an inversion. They're quite common, but some are better than
others. For instance, I often see low cloud where I live, with the tops
of the hills poking out through the top into clear air, but from the top
it only looks like a bit of mist. Some of Sean's photos show a
veritable sea of clound beneath his feet that he could almost have
walked across - were it not for the fact that clouds are only
overcrowded wotnots of water.
