Sunday was just Fan Hir to Waun Lefrith and return.

I was up that way on Sunday afternoon. Walked from Moel
Feity to the north end of Llyn y Fan Fawr, then underneath
Bannau Sir Gaer round the north side to Llyn y Fan Fach.
Then up Waun Lefrith, along the top to Fan Brycheiniog and
back down to the south end of Llyn y Fan Fawr. I must have
been rather later than you going along the top, though, and
    I didn't do Fan Hir.

Close, but not close enough to meet. I considered dropping
down to Lyn y Fan Fach and contouring back much the same way
as you came but decided my knee wouldn't take kindly to
either the rougher going or the flog back up to the ridge.

I was some hours ahead having reached Waun Lefrith at
12.48 and lunched by the large cairn on the path from
12.50 to 13.05. Fan Foel was reached (for the second time
    that day) at 13.50.

For those who are thinking of buying a Etrex Summit, don't.
The stupid machine put down 60 track points while I sat
    eating my lunch.
