  1. I had a long walk yesterday completing a circuit of the Ennerdale
    Valley. I started from Bleach Green, over to Bowness Knott and up onto
    Great Borne, then walked the High Stile Ridge to Haystacks, dropped
    into Ennerdale and back up onto Pillar. From there, I went over to
    Haycock and Caw Fell and dropped back down from Crag Fell to Ennerdale.
    This was a great full days walking on a high level route and one that I
    have wanted to do for a while. The weather was a bit odd - when I was
    dropping down from Haystacks, the clouds rolled in and hit me with a
    blizzard which cleared up within half an hour. From then on there were
    frequent snow showers and it was bitterly cold at times. Photo's are
