  1. Hi,
I don't post very often but I'm just in from a gorgeous day on the hill, one
of the best days weather wise. for ages,
Myself, a friend and Archie the dog did Carn Dearg in Glen Roy, (the one on
it's own on the right), The sky was blue ,the bog was frozen, there was a
sprinkling of snow and the most amazing view, Not another soul all day and
home to eccles cakes and custard, what more could you ask for?
I haven't any photos as I haven't a digital camera but you know when you've
had a great day and you want to share it....
    Best Wishes

    Thanks Peewiglet,
I've been lurking about this group for a while now, I enjoyed your TGO
report very much, I presume you'll be doing it again next year?

    Hi Julie,

I'm v. glad you enjoyed it 🙂 I've got a place for next year and will
be doing it, barring disaster (crubeens crossed).

I'm just planning my route now - very, very exciting! :-))

Lucky you being up there in Scotland! Are you thinking of having a go
    at the TGO walk?

    Hi PWG
I don't think I'll do it, i enjoy day walks very much and the occasional
overnighter, I know that I'm very lucky in that living up by Fort William I
can pick the best days to go out on the hill and stay at home and work and
do all the other dull stuff on the awful days, of which there have been many
lately 🙁 But a couple of good days like today make it all so much
    better...
Hopefully get out again tomorrow, I'm trying to do all the summits that i
can see from the house, just a couple to go now so i'd better go to sllep
    now
    Best Wishes
    Julie S

Lovely to read your little snippet. I'm out this weekend and I'm
hoping for scenes that are similarly memorable!

Hi Steve, the weather is just as glorious today but I'm working over the
weekend so no more days out for a while but i really hope you have as good a
    day as we did

  7. The heading was quite amusing...

It is compulsory to call all hills in GlenRoy Carn Dearg - to save
    confusion.
