Had a little run of Munros recently, been on Beinn Ime and Narnain a
few weeks back, Braeriach last weekend and did a very early ascent of
Ben Chonzie in the darkness on Saturday past. Braeriach was a
familiarisation climb for some of the guys going to Kilimanjaro next
month and all went well even if the weather was poor. Time was very
slow though with round trip to Sugarbowl taking 8.5 hours ! Next
Corbett vtrip likely to be after Christmas with this being my busiest
working time of the year.

Busy....

Have managed to get to the Moorfoots though, a nice piece of goml
dodging.

Hopefully will get out to a corbett once my placement has finished....

Still 9 to go

Cuinneag is rather cute.. had a great day on there, finished off with
a lovely swim in the river on the way down the glen. One of teh
guidebooks likens it to Cairngorm.. Not far wrong, but a darns sight
quieter with lovely coloured granite.

yes, like the Cairngorms, even lots of nice granite boulders. But no crags
at all!

Erm.... that's it, really. Perhaps that's only 1p's worth.

One observation from the summit:
On my 1988 Landranger map, a landrover track is marked up Glen Kendrum
towards Creag Mac Ranaich stopping about 1.5km from the hill at about
380m. In reality, the track goes way beyond the Beallach between CMG
and Cam Chreag. More encroachment - anyone know how recently this was
done?
