7 May 2001. Boiling hot weather, only managed Ben Starav. The Allt nam
Meirleach and Allt Mheuran tasted very nice that day.

Brilliant simple srcamble bits up the ridge for the last ten mins. Superb
views of
all the Cruachan, Coe and other nearby Munros.

And I now know why the Grey Corries are called Grey !

Descent off has an avoidable knife edge section. Difficult for dogs.

Easy walk off and back. Almost a horsehoe.

Did you also climb Beinn nan Aighenan? It looks a bit messy to climb
from anywhere else. A few years since I climbed it mind...

Forgot to say. When I climbed these hills we were desperately short of
water, and on Aighenan we took a huge detour to get some water.

Did that with Starav from Taynuilt. Quite a civilized two dayer if you
walk out to Bridge of Orchy, thanks to those wonderful trains (Start
saving up now) . The hills are just an add on to a great glen walk.

I was in a rush to blast back to Helensburgh for 5pm, so issed it.

I would rather do it from Glen Kinglass. Good excuse to ride the MTB !
