Still not ticked this one. First tried to in Sept.but my walkng
partner had blisters after the summit of Glas Tulaichean, so
we turned back. Then I did 'Carn an Righ' from GlasT, woosed
out fromdoing this as well, even though it was perfect weeather.
Then did An Socach via Glenshee car park and decided it
looked tolong to do it as well. Although back at the car
I regretted that.
Tried again 2 weks ago with my cousin who twisted his knee
and only wanted to do An Socach.
So after the top Bein Iutharn Bheag the wind was very strong and made walking difficult
above 2000ft, driving rain as well, I decided since the rest of the joining ridge was
high, to turn back. I also
guestimated that I would be benighted before crossing back over
the Baddoch burn. There was 100-200m visibilty all day and occaisonaly lower. So
navigation on the trackless and sometimes faint intermttent stacker tracks was hard work.
Another day, this time via GT or Inverey/Carn Bhac.
