Interesting route this year. Time trial on the second day should split the field up a bit, sort out who is going to be the favorites for the GC. However the really interesting thing about this race is the last stage.
3 HC CLIMBS!!!!!!!!!!!! On the last day of the race. That is really going to hurt a lot because it means that even on the last day anyone within 10 minutes of the lead could win. Should make the race interesting though. Good field too.
Beloki's career ended when he crashed........too bad he WAS a classy rider! Eisel won today.....nice win beating boonen on the line. ullrich in the pack.....more I don't know, because i was seeing dauphine. (those french commentators were talking fast, unbelieveble just no pause or something!)

I would like to see how will Sinkewitz do.
The big names though are surely Jan and Mayo. Interesting is the presence of Evans, Julich, Totchnig, McGee, Valverde and Hontchar.
Also last chance for a Tour place for Beloki. If he's decent he'll ride, otherwise...

Lol watching sporza now: What is mayo doing?? (quote commentators)
He's losing a lot of time. The next question from the commentators was: 'is he ever going to become the 'old' mayo from 2003/2004'!
yeah quote sporza.......''Mayo lost over 2 mins to honchar.....add 1.30 min to that during a TT in the tour and Mayo is out of contention for le tour''!
Hard words, but very true.............Let´s wait in seeing him climb

I like that.... maybe he (Mayo) needs some of that 'special' stuff that made him like he was..... better drop around to DM's house to pick up !
Ullrich on course ! Current standings:
1 Serhiy Honchar DOM 44'46"

16:31 Sinkewitz and Ullrich keep passing each other and when they pass Geoffroy Lequatre of Credit Agricole, it suddenly looks more like a three-man break than an individual time trial... The race commissioner blows his whistle to remind one and all, no drafting!!
Thought you weren't allowed to keep re-overtaking?
Apparently they reckon he was doing more 'gear' than a 20 something raver in Ibiza in 2003 which might explain his lack of form now.... best he get on the good stuff to light up the mountains..... I reckon he can afford to lose 3 minutes in Le Tour before the mountains.... when he is climbing well no one can stop him....

Haha are you getting hopes yet.....lets watch his climbing skills which sucked in last years tour the suisse. His TT has always been good that's not the problem it is the climbing and the tempo changes on the climb😎

Ullrich is in great form this year faster and lighter. I have said so much earlier but so many do not listen. The Tour De Suisse is a matter of pride with him and he will give a lot but he will not sacrifice to win if it means diminishing his chances to defeat Armstrong in the TDF. Last chances bring out the beast in many. Ciao
So were did you base his form on.....his words?? Or 1 good TT?? That was always his best part the TT. It is the climbing he needs to start working on if he wants to be no.1 during tour!
Let's see tomorrow and the last 2 days.......if he climbs as bad as last year it will be again difficult for him.
