  1. What is it with this "Tour de France" thing? If they had to swim 2.4 miles beforehand and run 26.2
    afterwards, then they'd have something!

Just kidding, of course. So, have you been following this year's action? What do you think? I
think Lance is in the worst shape in years but still has a great chance to win, and Tyler Hamilton
    is amazing.

BTW, for those of you that were hoping like I was, Lance said he's through with triathlon in a
    recent interview.

Well it has certainly been the best TDF in a long time.

Lance has had some trouble this year, that's for sure. But that is what is makeing the race so fun.
It gets kind of old when he builds up a 5 minute lead. I agree with the anouncers on this though.
He's struggling this year but what he's doing is proving how great he really is.

    Worried about the completion? 🙂

I didn't phrase that very well. I really wanted to see Lance do Kona after he won his sixth TdF to
see what he could do. I think he could win it since he's a good swimmer, a really good runner, and
he'd crush the field on the bike by a ridiculous amount.

Maybe he'll change his mind. Or maybe we can get Tyler Hamilton to do Kona instead.

  5. We just have to convince him that it would be fun. He certainly wouldn't want to do it for
    the money.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get Cal Ripken, the other "Ironman" to do it.

Ahh, ok. I was wondering why you didn't want him in Triathlon, but rereading with the new info I
can see how the sentence could be read either way. Personally I'd love nothing better than to see
    him in Kona.

Udo Boelts (Team Gerolsteiner) did Kona already. I think he finished in the top 100, but he was not
    the fastest on the bike.

Lance was a Pro-Triathlete at the age of 16. I think that kicks butt - Kona or no Kona.

Just came back from the last stage of the tour - they really are inredibly fast - there's no
triathletes keeping up that sort of speed (Drafting accepted). Lance deserves his win.
