For those of you who've read my mails bemoaning the lack of TLV distribution in the south of the UK ........
Finally caught a special showing - and well worth the wait, gripping stuff and true to the original
Probably just beat the DVD coming out ;-)

I only glanced at the beginning after grabbing mine from Morrisons. It looks like a kind of "Suile Grande Revisited" - shows them returning to the mountain to help with the filming".
Now I have to buy a wide-screen TV to get the full Monte, though I have about50watts per channel through the Hi Fi!
Sounds good at first hearing.... -- Gordon

...and also 'what happened next'. The three individuals telling how they got out of the area and back to 'civilisation'.
At the time the film was released I heard an interview with the film director, IIRC, which promised to tell the tale on the dvd of why Simpson and Yates fell out. I don't see that but it may be on the end of 'what happened next'. Not seen all of it yet....

I was talking about the 'extras' - "What happened next" etc.
I did start to look at the scene again where he fell and broke the leg, but the pain was too much, so I stopped the action and put it out of my mind until I feel more robust. 🙂 -- Gordon

The DVD *is* out now, we watched it last night. Quite remarkable I thought, that mixture of moral dilemma and adventure.
Regards, Nick.
