Yeah, you should get full leg protection with those pinned pedals. After
I got the cuts shown below I immediately ordered those sixsixone shin
and knee guards...I was goin backwards and made a turn and fell to the
side and the pedals just scraped all the way down my leg. Just the
scars but it was gruesome when they were all scabbed over.

Or just switch to plastic pedals, that's what I did. As long as it
doesn't rain or snow very often where you are then they work rather
nicely, and they don't have that shin-bleeding feature that some of
those pinned pedals have.

i switched to jim c oddyssey pedals from plastic ones.

mainly because my feet slipped off plastic ones when i rode with my
school shoes on because they are slick, and my feet slipped off and i'd
eat it trying to mount the bloody thing.

i was trying to buy a 50 dollar pair of snafu's and ordered them in at
the LBS, but they said that they didnt come in but instead another pair
came in. They said that they were a little bit more expensive but they
were blue and had removable pins. i was like ok what's it cost? they
said 100 i nearly died but luckily they gave them to me for 50. and
they glow in the dark. happy happy happy.

Well I just broke the DX in after a hard days riding. It is a really
good uni to ride on but unfortunately because my gloves have holes in
them my hands are full of blisters from riding SIF. In the morning I
started out with my newly found trick gliding, then went out to a block
of land I own and did some Muni and street in the concrete floored
barn. Not really a barn but it looks like one from the outside. Tried
to crankflip with many failed attempts so i went back to 180
unispins(most of which I landed) and 1 ft ww with a bit of gliding in
between. Lovin the DX!

Well I don't think I can ride hardcore enough to break anything on mine
for quite some time so I think I'll be loving it for a fair while. I
got a bonus with my torker. It came with a weird stand that works like
a charm. It looks sexcellent in my room.😄

Youll be surprised how quickly you will improve by just getting a strong
uni. =p

Mine came with half a stand, just the part that hooks on the frame, and
not the base to hold it up.

God I wish my mum would hurry up and email my pictures and vids to me! I
have only just started gliding on wednesday here in Australia and can
get a fair distance then make it down a bump and keep going. I live on
a BIG hill so that will be fun on the way to school.🙂

That would be awesome to get on film, just have a guy zoom in to the top
of the hill and you can see a tiny you glidding down, then lower down
the hill the camera can zoom out and then you can go flying by. =p

I cant even glide yet, every time I go to work on freestyle or street
stuff, I find a trials line and will ride on that.:o
