  1. I just got this reply via email from the Torker importer:

Do you think it is worth waiting for over an LX?
    ••••••••••••••••••••••
These unicycles should arrive late February... most dealers can
    receive
orders within 2 business days. The specs are very similar to the LX
models, but with an alloy frame. Pricing? Well, we are a wholesale
distributor only, so dealer prices may vary... but MSRP's are as
    follows:
TORKER 29" AX UNISTAR ALLOY UNICYCLE $264.99
    BLACK
TORKER 24" AX UNISTAR ALLOY UNICYCLE $209.99
    BLACK
TORKER 20" AX UNISTAR ALLOY UNICYCLE $204.99
    BLACK

    Thank-you for your inquiry!

  3. I personally wouldn't wait for it. I would just get the lx unless you
plan on getting a 29er. But even in that case I would just buy a
    nimbus.

  4. Shoot. I guess that puts that nice 29er out of my budget. Guess I'll
    have to keep saving up.

  5. If it has a flat crown, than I would say you should definatly wait if
you hope/plan on doing any freestyle as if you have that, then I doubt
you ever need anything else. Those sound like some pretty awesome unis.

  6. I think the 29er looks great and I would totally go for it if I didn't
have the -go big or go home- attitude and insist on getting a coker.

I wouldn't quite say that just yet, the MSRP for the DX is something
like $399 yet at most places it sells for $250

  8. with the sloping crown, i think i'd only even think about the 29er, the
20 would be nice and light but the round crown would be bad for most
    freestyle tricks.

No, it was $350, I just looked it up again online, and I remember
because I was working at a bike shop at the time of its release.
