  3. a pipe cutter is ideal but any saw that is ment to cut steel will work.
I have used hacksaws, skillsaws with an abrasive blade, steel cutoff
saws and this giant bandsaw ment for cutting steel beams.

I usuay use a grinder to remove any burrs and make the cut end a bit
    rounded.

try cut only the post. If you are really that short then yeah go for
it, but u'll have to make a groove like there is originally and be abit
more carefull. Seatposts are dirt cheap, frames (actually qu-ax ones
are lol) arent - so much

  12. I would say you could build your own frame, but if you're asking how to
cut down a seatpost then I don't think you have the skills to build a
    frame...

Yeah I tweaked my 07 DX frame off a drop less than 3 feet high...

I need to build a new frame soon.

Mine is bent at the gusset... the whole seat tube is crooked to the
left of the Unicycle. The only way you can tell is when riding on roads
with a decent amount of crown to them, or by just looking down on the
Unicycle.. it is out by about 1/2" by eye.

I did this before I cut up my frame. So don't say I cut it wrong.

The notch at the top is so the seat clamp can bend the tabs in to hold
    the post in place.

The notch is a designed space in the tube that allows the tube to
tighten around the post when the clamp is tightened up. if you do not
have a notch then the tube won't come together around the post.

If you cut your tube down the existing notch will likely be removed so
you will have to re notch the tube.

no ive been riding for 3 monthis ish

and my sun 20 had to be cut down as far as possible

but i wanna get a real sized wheel for traveling around the city
and i know a unicycle 3/5 of my height wont fit
