  1. I have about 20 limes.

Everyonr brought limes on father's day for the Corona's and I bought some
too - now I'm lousy with 'em.

Anyone have know what to do with them? I use a little in my seltzer. I have
london broil, split chicken breasts and pork chops so if you know a lime
    sauce of some kind.

    Maybe a dessert?

I will google too but if you have some tried&true uses for LIMES please
    share!
    thanks!

Marinate the chicken in lime juice for about an hour. Grill as usual.
Lime sauces are generally too strong for subtly flavored foods like chicken.

Good for making ceviche and escabeche (google).

Look for a recipe for lemon curd and just substitute lime juice and a
    little zest.

Do remove all the zest and let it sit on your kitchen counter uncovered
until it's dry. It's a wonderful flavoring agent for all sorts of things.

  4. I bet you could make a killer sauce for any of the meats with butter,
onions and lime juice. or, maybe mixng the juice with creamcheese for a
    "key lime" cheesecake?

Limade made with Splenda would be good. Or...Margaritas without Tripple
    Sec?

  9. Squeeze 'em all.

    Pour into ice cube trays.

    Freeze.

Pop them out and put them in a big freezer bag.

Now when you need a little lime juice, you'll always have some on hand.

I never need lime juice!! That's why I asked what to do with them! LOL

  11. They make a good marinade component for steaks, etc. Limes,
Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and cayenne pepper is a good start. Chuck
'em in a gallon ziplock bag with the meat for a couple of days.

I put lime juice, garlic, olive oil and epper on the pork chops - they are
sitting in that for a while then I'll grill them when DH gets home. That's
    1 lime down!!!

    Gimlet anyone??

Thanks - that's similar to what I do but use a different acid (usually
    vinegar)

I am wondering if i can use something similar to make jerky? I just bought a
big top round to slice up and dehydrate - I bet I can do a lime, soy sauce,
    worcestershie, garlic, black pepper marinade.

My grilled pork chops were marinated in lime, garlic, oil and pepper - they
were tasty. I still have alot of limes though!!

I like to squeeze them or some lemons, and zest them too, then mix with
    cream cheese and Splenda. ;-d

You can also just juice them and freeze the juice in ice cube trays. Pop
them into a ziplock once frozen for future use.

    Margaritas NEED that orange flavor!

I substitute small amounts of orange extract for triple sec. ;-)

one or two cubes into the seltzer and get the lime taste and the cooling
    benefit of ice cubes too.

Slice them thinly, put them in a ziplock bag or other freezer container,
and float them in a pitcher or glass of water or seltzer.
