  1. Explanation Of Ullrich's Team Car Conference In Stage 13... At the 100km mark of yesterday's stage,
Jan Ullrich returned to the team car for a discussion with his director, Rudy Pevenage. No reason
was given for the conference in the middle of the stage. That was probably because the reason was a
rather embarrasing one. It was revealed after the stage that the rider who finished the stage in 2nd
place needed to go to the toilet. And it was for a 'Number Two'... with the pace high, Ullrich
realized what he needed to do. Figure out the rest of this story without the need for graphic
detail. Let's just say: he didn't stop...

Please tell me they didn't capture the results on camera.

In the Tour 97 or 98 Ullrich had to pee. One of his team mates pushed him at the side of the road,
the moto camera was really close. Abraham Olona chased the camera away.

Gives the term "[censored]' yer drawers" a whole new meaning. Hey, maybe that's why Lance had such a
pained expression on his face when he was in Jan's wake! I wouldn't have stayed on his wheel
    either. Pew.

I can just imagine Phil's commentary as the cameras pick up the image of brown goo oozing from
    his shorts:

"My goodness, me... Ulrich has had a rather nasty incident that he won't soon forget..."

That's funny, I thought the only rider [censored] himself yesterday was LA 😉

Now that you mention it, I remember hearing a similar story of the same thing happening to Gred
LeMond during the TDF one year.

Kinda sick, but they are paid to ride... no excuses.

In one of the earlier Alpine stages last Sunday, there was pretty good camera coverage of Bettini
    pushing Virenque while Tricky was working his dicky. A Brioches rider picked that point to attack;
Bettini chased him down and gave him the full verbal treatment. Both ears chewed.

  9. And all along I thought these guys were like movie stars - they never go to the loo.

A couple years ago Jacky Durand crossed the finish line, his red shorts clearly sporting a large
bulging brown stain. Camera caught it all, commentators "didn't see a thing".
