She should use the photo to market her persona. Her grandchildren will be proud, AND motivational speaking is welfare for athletes.
I find it pretty hard to believe that she was that close and her instincts didn't kick in to get the gold. If that's loyalty for Rossner then it's thicker then [censored].

It will depend at that time on how justified she will still feel about it.
There's been a lot of noise here about leaving our "sprinter" home, but he was left home due to the system. Rossner was left home due to coach's discretion. I'd be pretty [censored] too if as a team we'd done everything right but didn't have the person we needed because they got left home due to politics. If she just boycotted and Ge. did poorly it would have been her fault. As it is she did her job and might have been able to win, but I think she was cooked, as a support rider/leadout should be just before the sprint. IMO right or wrong she made her point, and it wasn't as disfunctional as the Italian World's teams in the past. Bill C

The first time I saw it, I thought Carrigan jumped on the right and caught Arndt looking over her shoulder to the left.
