    I don't know who Tommy Rominger is but Tony Rominger is an accomplished Swiss cyclist who (if I'm
    not mistaken) won the Vuelta once or twice.

    Who was that Scandinavian dude that rode for Bianchi in the '70s? Tommy Prim? Everyone (except the
    tifosi) figured he should have been the protected rider but he had to ride as gregario for some
    other Italians that I can't even remember. IICR he place very high in at least one Giro.

    Yes Primm, but I think Knudsen also rode for Bianchi.

    about Rominger, is he still involved in coaching Millar ?

    Good question. The last I heard Rominger was an agent. No doubt he could do both but I think his
    primary pursuit was to work as a rider's agent.

    Prim rode in the early 80s powerhouse Bianchi squad. I think Knud Knudsen rode in the lates '70s for
    Bianchi. Prim had a battle with Hinault in '82 where he might have won had his Italian team been
    willing to throw their weight behind him instead of supporting multiple leaders. Maybe that's the
    one you're referring to.

    I believe it was Tommy Prim who won the Morgul Bismark stage of the Coors Classic in 1986 on a long
    breakaway. He was on the Bianchi team with Moreno Argentin that came to Colorado that year to
    aclimate for the '86 worlds in CO Springs.
