Other than the oooh aaah factor, what is a Ti stem going to do differently than a polished AL stem?

For Ti seatposts, you can get Syncros, Dean, Litespeed, etc. and polish them yourself or send them
to a metal polishing place to get them done.

It looks really daggy, but email them for a price list. They don't have credit card facilities so
you have to wire money to their account. They are very cheap and I have bought three Ti frames from
them, plus head stems and seat posts.

Though I might ask, "why"? What advantage is there for Ti stems or seatposts? The only seatpost I
ever broke was a Ti post. I was lucky I didn't impale myself and it was a painful ride home without
being able to sit down. Since then I've opted for an aluminum post, either Syncros or Thomson.
