tires for Cruiser/SingleSpeed

Great fun tire that compares well to the Hookworns, particularly in
weight!

Big Apples are, as you point out, a lot lighter than Hookworms. They
are also much easier to install and remove.

It's worth noting that the 2.35" Big Apple and the 2.5" Hookworm are
the same actual width when inflated.

The Ritchey Moby Bite 26x2.1 is in between the size of a 2.0" Big Apple
and a 2.35" Big Apple. It's a great tire for the price.

I don't think they make them more than 1.5" wide these days, but a set
of 2" Avocet Fasgrips would have been cool. Totally slick.

James, Kinky et. al,

For my 26 I am kind of partial to the WTB Nanoraptor. I both race it
and ride it on the street. On the track it grips better than a Comp 3
and on the street it is OK, very good in snow and ice.
