  1. You found that encouraging?

    Try this:

You might as well quit trying to lose weight now, before you waste your time
and everyone else's time. You are much too weak-minded to ever find even a
    modicum of success.

Btw... Yes, I'm going to also die, but at least I'll fit in a normal coffin.

  4. Eddie,

Congratulations on your progress! You've made a great start.

Have you checked out www.fitday.com ? I (and some others here) use it to
track carbs (and calories, too), and it's really easy to use. The online
version is FREE, but they also offer a downloadable version for around $20.

changing. That'll throw you into a tailspin. What did your numbers
look like pre low-carb and what do they look like now?

Nah, strawberries are mainly water, it's about 7g of carbs per 100g.

Actually it's 5.68g net carb. And who stops eating strawberries after only
100g? Oh well I'm only speaking for myself - every strawberry is a one big
seedy slippery slope for me. :-p Since it's only 20g carbs allowed per day
during induction, 5.68g could be better spent on veg for the fibre.

I dunno. I had felt dizzy during patches of my low carbing history. How many
calories are you eating? Are you eating enough?

Do you have a kitchen scale? I'm going to get one this week. I hope it's going
to help me get more meticulous (and serious) in doing my carb count.

  15. We went out last week to purchase a digital scale but couldn't find a
reasonably priced one, so I am waiting until we go to the U.S. next week and
    will look for one there.

Yes, I agree, a scale should make us get more meticulous about counting both
    carbs and calories.
