I finally have a few minutes to enjoy playing but just as my holiday vacation hits so, too, does the ice storm. My trials gear is caked in 2.5" of ice. I know I'm spoiled but I actually expected to be able to ride outdoors all winter this winter too. You gotta love the South - almost always.
Jugar is right. Big difference. In this part of the country we seldomly get snow but - DAMN ICE - you can't do ANYTHING! Luckily, the temperature is going above freezing so we will begin to thaw. However, I did discover a "secret" way into a church basement so while Sunday services we going on just above me I was working on my freestyle - getting ready for the MONDO Festival.
Hey Catboy! What a fun video! I'm glad that you are able to get out and play in the stuff you've got. Here in the Mid-South when we get snow we, too, play in it. However most of the time that we get the white stuff we just get a glaze of just ice. How I ended up dealing with it this time around (since I was on vacation) I packed the truck and headed 6 hours south to the 70 degrees of New Orleans! Besides, there the post ride cuisine is much more interesting. Have fun. Keep the vids coming!
Wow,that looks great. It would be hard to ride on it though.riding on ice is one thing, hopping on it is another.Get a hair dryier and melt it.Or an ice ax.and a shovel.THEN ride it.😄 Be sure to post more pics when it thaws.
I just got done(like 5 minutes ago) riding down hills in snow. Its so fun to ride real steep hills in deep snow. You can ride fast and reckless and wipeout in the drifts. But you get soaking wet. Too bad i dont have a video camera.
