Today-I get on the trainer and since I hadn't erased my last ride the time is at 2:25-I ride until 5:09 and when I download my data to WKO it says I rode 1:45 minutes! This is not the first time it has happened but I kept thinking my math was faulty but now its getting irritating as it is distorting my TSS values-any ideas out there?😠

Could one of those numbers been the clock and not cumulative time?

Just remember kids, three hours on a trainer is a long time! 😉-Eric

Whenever I don't trust the results of a download, I don't save the workout, quit CyclingPeaks then retry the operation again until I'm fully satisfied.
I'd say that on average, I need 2 or 3 attempts for each workout. Sometimes, I have to try more than 10 times.
Problems I get (that force me to try again) are strange values, too much or too little riding time and so on...
**edit**
For what it's worth, here's an example of the kind of garbage I was talking about..
Today, I'm not fortunate. I've been trying to push this one, and it still doesn't work after 8 attempts. -

Wait. You have to do this with every download? 😕 I've never had to do this in 3.5 years of using Power Taps.

If you're not getting any funky values on PT screen (to your knowledge), I'd venture to guess that there is a communication problem between the PC and the PT. Is the baud rate on your COM port set incorrectly? Can you correctly download and view the test pattern from the PT (see the troubleshooting section in the back of the PT manual)? Does this happen with Power Agent or other software?
