  1. Is it just constantly pissing where everyone else is? I've barely been
able to get out these days. AFter a string of nice april days, its
been raining almost every day. One nice day then rain for four days. I
feel like I'm in one of those Ray Bradbury stories on Venus, where it
rains all the time! This sucks!

I'm sure it's nice somewhere. BUt if it is, i don't want to hear it!

    Then don't look up Vancouver's weather 🙂

Dearest Marlene, please don't take a peek at weather in Central Virginia. I
assure you that rumors of cobalt blue skies and big white fluffy clouds and
cool cloud shadows that chase you down the road are unconfirmed.

Reports that the grass in the meadows is greener than green is also just an
exaggeration - damn these ole hi-viz amber sunglasses anyway!

    Sssshh! Don't tell her that.

Don't believe him about the weather. It rains constantly. All the time in
fact. Seattle and Vancouver are just soggy barren wastelands filled with
homeless jobless zombies. After the dotbomb infopocalypse civilization
has ended (except for Gelato shops). So don't try and move here. Don't
even visit unless you've got all your shots and you're stocked up on
    mutant repellent.

hmmm, I think that was in The Illustrated Man.

LOL, it's not like I don't see the national weather forecast. I know
it's nice in Vancouver, but I know it's very rainy in the winter.

LOL, yes, and like the stories, I think we're going to actually get a
break on friday when the sun will make a brief appearance before we
    get deluged for the weekend....

I was in Geogia last week and it was raining and cold. I returned to Ohio
to find more rain, cold and even a light dusting of snow. It's been raining
every day this week and it doesn't look much better for the rest of the
week. I finally get the bike ready and the weather won't cooperate.

  10. It's called April. A tease of a month!

  11. Weather here (NJ) is rather weird but not for April. We have wind,
lots of it , some sun, some rain. Today it was supposed to have
thunder storms. My friend and I rode around it (we're usually not that
lucky). We came across wet roads which were dry when we started the
    ride.

Tomorrow, breezy, Friday rain and wind, Saturday wind & boomers
(thunder storms), Sunday sun & wind. We'll ride Saturday (100 miles)
and maybe 40 - 60 miles Sunday. I hope we won't get too wet.

I thought that was Australia. They have a 7-day weather cycle. If it rains the
first weekend of the summer, it will rain every weekend thereafter. Ask an
Aussie if you don't believe me.

I see it's going to be mostly sunny with temps in the 80 degree range for
the Tuscany region this weekend. Should be some good riding happening.

Unfortunately not this winter so we are going to have water rationing
(alternate days lawn watering) this summer.

What in the hell are you doing in Tuscany!! You should be in Germany
pre-riding the "Rund em den Henniger Tuem" on Sunday or in France
training for the "Four Days of Dunkirk which starts on Monday.

Snow here again tonight in Durango.
At 6,500 feet (starting) elevation it is warm at 50 deg F when it is
sunny, but feels very cold and 55 when it is damp and cloudy.
But they're still making turns in the backcountry, and should be for
    several weeks to come!
