yeah, they all look pretty healthy to me... ROFLMFBO!
i mean, you are obviously a healthy active person if you walk around your house right?

ok, so at least in the US, cyclists now have large metal and plastic road blocks on the road, and large metal and plastic path blocks on the footpath.
the only option i see, is that cyclists must take up agressive downhilling bikes and ride OVER these obstacles (extra points for jumping over a huge 4x4 or several mobility scooters). i mean sure, you have to carry them on the uphill, but think of all the tyre tracks you will leave on bonnets and foreheads :P

    yup, we are doomed.

"..pretty healthy..." he says!?@! WTF... just look at the fat [censored]!
Yeah... healthy like a fattened calf! He actually looks like he needs
the scooter. The extremely sad thing about all this is that if people
do use these scooters just cos they are lazy then they will actually
need them in the long run!

I've noticed it here. Lots more of those electric scooters around, and
many ridden by younger obese people. I assumed the lard-arses had
gravity-induced injuries such as twisted ankles. Could it be they are
    just lazy?

OTOH, those things are not supposed to be on the road, unless there
is no footpath. And then they must ride against the traffic.
If they don't, we can easily let them know :-)

Bollox. Lets just get more creative. Remember those nifty chariot racing axle 'extensions' in Spartacus? Or was that in another sword 'n sandle epic?

It's not so bad. Just remember that the lazy w**kers who use those things aren't long for the world. Only problem is that we've gotta foot the bill for the fruitless treatment of their type II diabetes and other health problems until they finally kick the bucket.

I remember reading once that sharks actually need to keep swimming, or else the flow of water through their gills drops and they suffocate. When you think about it, people aren't that different. Once you stop moving, you're doomed. Only difference with us is that it isn't quick and clean.

i for one would think that cycling, as a form of immune boosting excersize, would help to protect the body against disease contracted from dirty telephones.

    douggy adams would probably agree.

    Which law says that?

NSW Public service at one stage had stocks of telephome cleaning fluid.
    Mostly eucalyptus based.
Good on bakelite. Not so good on plastic.

    Can you expand on this?
Or is this just a TDT/CA/etc obesity whine?

  18. It fits with modern life. We have dishwashers to do the washing up, video recorders to do the TV watching, and motorised scooters to do the walking. Pretty soon we will have robots to do the living for us.

WA Road Traffic Code 2000 Section 203:

    (a) shall, where practicable, travel on the carriageway, or on the side
of the carriageway, used by vehicles travelling in the opposite
direction and keep as far to the right side of the carriageway as is
    practicable; and

    (b) shall not travel on the carriageway alongside more than one other
pedestrian or vehicle travelling on the carriageway in the same
direction as the pedestrian, unless the pedestrian is overtaking other
    pedestrians.

    Modified penalty: 1 PU

    # Pedestrian includes motorised wheelchair capable of <10km/h
